A W Edwards has been awarded the contract to build Sydney
Metro’s new Crows Nest Station and the over station development above the
Clarke Street entrance. It will be delivered as part of the Sydney Metro City
& Southwest project, extending services from the end of the Metro North
West Line at Chatswood, under Sydney Harbour through new CBD stations and
southwest to Bankstown. By 2030, Sydney will have a network of four metro
lines, with 46 stations and a 113-kilometre of new metro rail. Crows Nest
Station will be one of the 46 stations to be built along the Sydney Metro City
& Southwest line.
Crows Nest Station will be situated near to the existing Crows Nest village, on the eastern side of the Pacific Highway between Oxley Street and south of Hume Street and between Pacific Highway and Clarke Lane.

In May 2022, A W Edwards was awarded the contract to build the over station development at the Clarke Street entrance building located on the corner of Clarke and Hume streets, Crows Nest. This will be a nine-storey commercial office building with a rooftop terrace.

The design includes a retail space on the ground floor that links the widened Clarke and Hume Street pedestrian pathway into the office building entrance located on Hume Street and station entrance located on Clarke Street.
